The music to Four-in-a-Row is a banger to be fair.

Free roam needs a checklist. If you can’t track your progress it doesn’t feel like you’re making any, which is why its absence is so strange to me. Seems like a massive own goal.

Oh and Grand Prix should ideally have been regular laps only.

It's definitely weird but thankfully muscle memory kicked in and I've been fine with default - less of a hassle when using the Wind Waker but nice the option is there.

The preview screen in the options in SC make it looked stretched but when in the game it looks ok (to me at least).

@MeerkatSimples You have to set it within each game, only FZ and SC have 16:9 options.

Also, if you hold the left stick in any direction after launching the GC app - it plays the GC intro!

@Paul12345 I’d imagine it will be the same to the other apps. GameCube games (code, art assets etc) are all different sizes, with most being much smaller than the 1.36GB ISO size when games are ripped from discs.

@Justifier When I’ve ordered stuff from the Nintendo store in the past (including consoles) they have always arrived on release day.

Kinda shocking not have Eternal Darkness on this list, it’s never had a sequel or remake. It’s an all timer that deserves to be available on other hardware.

@Wilforce Read the wording of the lawsuit, it's not about the leaks but what is actionable against their trademarks. Also there is a difference between users of Discord/4Chan/Twitter and an accessory manufacturer making false claims (which as the article has already stated, Genki has admitted to) and infringing on trademark to boost their business.

In short, these are the facts of the situation. Company A feels they have grounds to take action against Company B - that's it. They are free to do so, this is the process and the outcome of this process is up to the courts who are impartial.

@Wilforce The issue is stated in the lawsuit. Genki will be single-handily responsible for damages (if the case goes that way) because they took the action they did. Who else would be responsible?

Nintendo believe Genki “used Nintendo's trademarks and trade dress in connection with the marketing of its business and its unauthorized third-party accessories, in violation of Nintendo's rights in those marks”. Which sounds fair enough.

Not surprising, didn’t think the juice was going to be worth the squeeze for Genki on this one.

@Yosher Yeah I know, would love the Nintendo logo to appear on the GB app when launching a game, just doesn’t feel right without it! Just hoping for this one as it’s maybe the most iconic of them all to me.

@lyle_catcliffe Good question, I’d hope it’s an option - it’s as iconic as any game on the platform.

@AhabSpampurse Ha! Turok forced me to get a Memory Pak too! The scars from the SNES and early N64 days are still fresh, probably why MKW doesn’t seem too bad if I get the same out of it I did with MK8.

Saying that, Toys R Us did Goldeneye for £34.99 on launch day and as me and a particular friend still play it, only workout to be about £1.50 a year so far!

@WheresWaveRace Shouldn't say this out loud, but I'd also lay out a few quid to upgrade Alien and (especially) GRID.

The only titles I have concerns about (and that is too strong a word!) are Alien Isolation and GRID, but good to see an update on this.

@darkswabber Thats fair, but Nintendo have done hardware updates like this before and haven’t lost their identity because they still use that hardware to craft unique experiences through software. And sometimes cardboard! 😂

From Sony, whose major innovations in this space are what? Without getting too 90’s console wars, as far as I can tell the PS control pads are still derivative of the SNES.
